He collaborated with artists like Bonnie Tyler and Meat Loaf, crafting epic songs like "Bat Out of Hell," "Total Eclipse of the Heart," and "I'd Do Anything for Love (But I Won't Do That)."

Jim's songwriting prowess extended to a wide range of artists and genres, with hits like Air Supply's "Making Love Out of Nothing at All," Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now," and Boyzone's "No Matter What."
